This is Gareth & I. We run Poihakena Portraits. We've had this business since 2014 when we opened in Poihakena (Port Jackson aka Sydney). We started our Portrait days as a way to fundraise for our daughter Stephanie's Kohanga Reo and it has grown from there.  . 
We live in Patea Taranaki with our 2 younger children Stephanie & Taniora (our big girls Tikanga & Summer are in their 20s and live in Australia).We travel NZ & AU with a collection of kakahu and make Portraits with whanau who book into our Māori Portrait Days​
Now in addition to our usual  portrait days we are offering Portraits for our Kohanga Reo and Kura. Just like the regular school photos but with the addition of kahuhuruhuru & rau for the mokopuna who will wear them.
